Shall we just all agree on Global Parasite? No one else can possibly come close? Although Bastions do come close they don't come as interesting or adventurous. Hats off mon the GP you fly the flag well.

Seagul Kinevil? on a music/creative vote surely the best band. Impaled Existance: best metal? Global Parasite: It's punk, but you can't help but be in awe of them? Incredible music and mindset. Bastions: A bit Kerrang magazine but like Global Parasite, they have shed their "local band" chains a long time ago. Kixxstart Kitty: Can we we have a round of applause for most pointless band please? Hopefully they will grow out of it.
It's a tie between Seagul Kinevil & Global Parasite.

For me there is no contest. These guys play the sort of brutal hardcore metal that will burn your face off. Oh yes, I have seen the future of extreme music. The kids won't know what's hit them. Fuck yeah! - www.johnacal.co.uk/english/home.htm

Excuse the possible ignorance, but what have klaus klinski done this year that isn't already staple diet to the other bands.
"rest are cheesy fails especially GP" GP failing, are bastions and seagul kinevil failing too?

Global Parasite are kiddy punk whose political acumen is 6th form at best. They're good at what they do but what they do isn't adventurous. It was a well worn template 25 years ago. They're about as conservative as music gets. This era's equivalent of a blues band. Their kind of punk is the safest. Safe in the knowledge there's a readymade audience out there. Safe in the knowledge that there's a self supporting gig circuit of like minded bands. Safe in the knowledge that that audience will never question that bullshit. Safely resigning from the real world. Safe chords. Safe fast drumming. Safe shouty vocals. Safe resignation from any real ambition or will to change the world for the better. Utter fucking hypocrites in other words. Want to change the world GP? Go be social workers, voluntary workers, drug counsellors, council workers, teachers, doctors, scientists. Don't pretend being sat on your doley anarchist arses is anything other than a kop out. There are brands of clingfilm less transparent than you.
Seagull Kinevil are Dodgy do Zappa. Or Primus failing to get The Cardiacs. Shit puns, good musicianship, no currency outside Bangor.Every town has a Seagull Kinevil. A band of local musos who were never quite good enough to get national attention but who plug away, doing what they do, doing it well, but never being anything other than a fuss in their own back yard.
Klaus Kinski and Bastions shit all over both bands. A big torrential downpour that'd drown GP and Seagull Kinevil ('kinell more like) where they stand.

Easier to just make assumptions rather than check out what they are about? Dave was kind enough to actually give me an album so ive read and listened, and i'm but a stranger! sounds more like you gotta chip on your shoulder, up in arms with your essay of course you have! does not sound like you have given seagul a listen either, do you own their album? good live to, last gig in bangor was delicious! bastions are just your run of the mill hardcore band. still bloomin good though, but toungue out of their arses please. Klaus Klinski, well done, but what have they done? Have they toured, does anyone know who they are outta this place, have they released? I'm guesing u are klaus klinski!

Oh god, here we go again, the annual pointless debate on which band is "best".
How do you judge a good metal band against a good punk band? Or rapper? Or country & feckin' western singer? Or Australian sheep-shearing shanty singer?
It's as daft as asking whether red is better than green!!!
Leave the "who's best" bollocks to X Factor and just enjoy the music you like on its own terms!!!
