I think Bryn Terfel is the best musician in Wales. He's really big and fat too, like all ace opera singers. He gets my vote.
Then again, I'm a convicted child murderer.

I have always liked Der Bomber and PSST. I find their unique takes on independent music refreshing and there is an honest quality in the vocal delivery that accurately conveys the sentiments of a dissatisfied Welsh youth culture.
Then again, I was convicted of possessing child pornography a few years back and have spent my life on the run from the tabloid press so what do I know?

I have always had a thing for David Wrench. The man really can tickle the ivories and he's always been my favourite keyboard player. In a scene dominated by guitar bands David is a rare example of someone who knows the true value of electronic music and how to implement it in a live setting.
Then again I was executed for murdering 33 young men between 1972 and 1978 and I used to dress up as a clown so most people think I'm a right bellend.

We quite like Jack Sharp's conscious juxtaposition of the 'gifted virtuoso' and everyone knows what we did.

Despite being a Nazi War Criminal who committed suicide in 1946, I have always been a keen follower of Mike Peters from the Alarm.
True, he may not be the most technical musician in the world, but there's just something in that voice I can empathise with.

Mostly Juz, Rapspittin and sentient from D.L.O and the rest of the North Wales Hip Hop scene.
Then again I did start Marks n Sparks by selling habidashery, still I don't see the point of this thread.

Greetings Welsh infidels! You all know who I am!
Depsite the fact I was brutally executed by the American government for war crimes, I always found Wendykurk to be one of the most overlooked bands on the North Wales music scene. In particular, the compound time signatures used by Ben, Matt and Nomi are a marvel to behold. How do they remember that stuff? It's mind boggling.
Take it from me, even though I'm a total bastard.
