www.facebook.com/home.php?#/event.php?eid=216687164742&ref=tsAmsterdam's The Bent Moustache stop over at the Victoria Hotel in Menai Bridge for a belated New Year's celebration as part of their January UK tour. The Glasgow and London dates have already completely sold out, so this will be a rare opportunity to still catch them in the UK.
The group previously played The Vic a couple of years back to a rapturous reception, since when group mainman Ajay has been busy touring the world as soundman to the likes of My Bloody Valentine, Mum and The Dirty Three. Replenished and ready for more rocking action, the group will no doubt be previewing new material alongside favourites from their acclaimed 'Forst' album and their great new single "Counterinsurgencylifestylejunkies".
The group's vibrant and eclectic sound joyfully blends spiky post-punk rhythms, chiming guitars, sharp social observations and dub soundscapes into a unique and irresistable mélange.
As if this were not enough, there will also be auxiliary performances by local psychosonic philanderers Ectogram and wily guitar wizard Duncan Black
