Agreed, shit news about Stuntface. Erm, thanks for the abuse haha. I agree to a certain extent, we have only played around these parts once (that I can think of, and I had to think hard which is bad) in the last year or so and should do more often. There are some places we can't play, which has probably been a contributing factor. If we get asked, then we will play, we haven't been asked, so haven't played. 9/10 local gigs we have played in the past were ones we put on ourselves, as there has been a lull in putting on gigs for a while we haven't played. (Although I've been speaking to someone about starting up again, despite putting on gigs not being my strong point.) It is strange to know that more people know who we are in Manchester than along the north Wales coast though. Perhaps we've alienated ourselves? Perhaps we're not "cool" round here anymore? Maybe we should pretend we're an 80's metal band or something. I don't know, but we're keeping busy as you seem to be aware of, if you want to come to a gig out of the area with us, let us know, often room in the bus. Not saying there won't be local gigs, just saying it's not something I've thought about until I saw this post.

You could always hire them to play in your front room.

Am aware of The North Wales Inn, a good friend works there. And yes, supply a PA and mics and we'll play anywhere!

Global Pissershitter What is the deal with those people anyway? They are not on a recognised label that I recognise, and I have been involved in the industry for some time, who is their manager? I watch from a far, I listen, and I see so much and yet behind it all there is mystery. Does the area understand what it may have here?

I think I can answer for "these people"! No manager. It's DIY. I'm a little confused, if you have been watching from "a far" or whatever you mean by that then you should no the answers to your own questions.

haha fuck that is suspicious, I'm sure Neil could answer that with his "security"! It is however a fact that this post did spark a conversation about doing local gigs. We've only really played local when we've put the thing on ourselves, so...

Looking at the IPs - Matt doesn't seem to be impersonating anyone.

my career as a comedian ends abruptly once more If that is actually Mark and not Matt posting under a psuedonym. Right now I bet the real Mark WJ is entertaining thousands of comedy buffs with his fantastic blend of flatulence, arson and animal cruelty.
