There's a tattoo festival in llandudno in August and I've just got wind that the magnificent Goldblade are playing it... Anyone else heard anything? Anyone else playing it?

You're sooo behind the times Mr Crud, John told me on the 16th of Jan lol Yes, Goldblade are playing and so are Homespun (as far as they know, waiting for more details)

Behind the times maybe - but at £25 a ticket it's gonna be a very intimate and echoey evening unless the Manics or someone that stature are playing...

As far as I know you can't buy tickets for just the gig, the £25 is like an upgrade on the weekend tickets. But what do I know?

the £25 is probably to cover John Rob's muscular milkshakes or somethin, or maybe all the signed photo's he gives out

www.tattoojam.co.uk/home.php?/Home <-- that would be the website. Spit Like This seem to be the only confirmed band so far. I think Carpet are playing it too. Great tattooists there - Paul from Indigo is amazing. £55 quid though... christ on a bike.

THE WEEKEND BEFORE REBELLION!
I know where my money is going. Although i work in 2 tattooist's kinda and would love to see some of the artists attending...
from what i gather with these things you have to book with the artist 2 months ago and its so packed that you don't see anything anyway.
plug: AMAZING TATTO'S FROM AARON ALLSOPP @ NEW ROSE, RHYL... all in favor...

There is plans (and only initial plans at the mo) to have a "fuck the rip-off tat fest" gig in the same town on the same day. Word is is that it will be free and have as many good bands as poss rammed into an evening! Is this rumour/gossip? indeed it is so dont quote me but i think it may happen! it would also nice to have attendees to the daytime event bombarded with flyers for the night time FREE gig (by people outside and our insiders...inside) i like the idea of this, my idea? no, but its a guden tho?. although its it is most definitly in the idea stages did i post this? oops!

stupid stupid idea.
tattoo fest is cool if it wasn't the weekend b4 rebellion i'd go. more things i like happening closer to where i live is never bad.
the high cost is to cover the cost of the artists travel and accomadation too i suppose.
i'm gonna be there evan if i can't manage it for free.

no the tat fest is wicked. we are talking about the evening gig at the tat fest....which u have to pay 25quid plus (or round abouts) to get into on top of what u have already paid for the day. thats the whole point. tis a super dooper idea!

i'll probably go to the tattoo part but not the evening gig. i'de rather pay £30 to the thing and then go somewhere else to watch bands that won't cost an extra £25.
