does anyone know Neilson Hughes, a 19 year old joinery student from llandrillo college? he seems to have been tricked by the BNP into standing as a candidate for the local elections according to; www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-wales-news/2008/04/09/bnp-take-two-council-seats-unopposed-in-conwy-55578-20738044/I wouldnt mind speaking to him about it, the BNP have 11 candidates in the conwy/denbighshire area and if one of them was tricked into being a candidate (ie Neilson Hughes, in his own words); its possible that more of the 11 were tricked aswell. Which, if true, would mean in order to help stop the BNP getting into power locally, we'd need to contact the candidates and make sure they didnt make a mistake in signing the papers, and hopefully, if they've got any sense they'll pull out before the may 1st election. its gotta be worth a try hasnt it?! same question if anyone knows any of the other bnp candidates; Andrew Yates (representing Llysfaen), James Trueman (representing Glyn ward, Colwyn Bay), Susan Harley (representing Eirias war, Colwyn Bay & Conwy County), Paul Harley (representing Llandrillo-yn-rhos & Penrhyn), John Oddy (representing Llandrillo-yn-rhos), Joyce Hannon (representing Rhiw, Colwyn Bay), Derek Stenson (representing Glyn, Colwyn Bay), Chris Robinson (representing Bryn, Conwy County), Lloyd Thomas Morgan (representing Kinmel Bay, Conwy), Ian Si'Ree (representing Rhyl South West ward, Prestatyn South West ward, Denbighshire)

fuck me, i'm sure Bryn is Llanfair. I was initially well surprised that there'd even be anything of interest for them in llanfair (mind you waves of immigrants are swamping the place, i come from Pen after all "send him back through the tunnels, his skin is too pale coming from the shady side of the mountain, coming over here stealing our sunshine, wot a fackin liberty") but then their whole agenda is representing their views and not people, hence the blanket approach to sneak councillors in unopposed. I shall make some enquires about this cont locally.

I know Ian Si'Ree through my boxing connections and I can say for certain that he hasn't been tricked - he's now BNP through and through.
Sad thing is, until he became overtly involved in local politics he gave no indication of what he stood for and seemed an ordinary everyday bloke - just goes to show that the BNP's odious beliefs can be hiding behind the most everyday of faces.

man, you couldn't make this up... "Chris robinson is proud to be you local BNP candidate. served 14 years in the armed forces (before "hearts and minds" evidently) and then 8 years in North Wales Police . Met his fiance Crenith whilst patrolling llanfair" so obviously this is some kind of family thing going on there if she's standing as well There was that recent court case where some dick was sentenced under racial harassment laws for giving a nazi salute to a black man (errr i don't really get the applicability of that insult either, claimed he was "scratching his chest"). set me wondering if ironically i could be charged under similar laws by following the happy couple round town seig heiling...

The BNP will have a field day in the UK soon... people are reacting to the goverment taking the piss flooding us with people we cant handle or support and they will daftly join things like the BNP not initialy knowing that they dont differeniate between objecting to imigration and attacking black women for fuck all! its mad but you can see how they will gain favour. i wonder if they'd wear thier badges in Cheetam hill!? lol

yep you're right, people are reacting (as intended) to the governments ignorance to the immigration issue, racist headline after racist headline in papers like the sun (for how many years now??) have 'manufactured' the publics consent/racist attitude towards muslims, asians etc, and if the BNP's true intentions are not out in the open; the BNP will have a very real chance of being elected via 'stealth' (maybe blitzkrieg would be a better word!).
I'd like to think the general public are aware of the very fuckin dodgy reputation the BNP has, but all you can do is try to spread the word about how theythe BNP want an 'all-white britain' etc, and hope people make the right decisions when they come to vote (which is tomorrrow by the way).

The BNP are doing party political broadcasts down here in Kent. It's quite surreal to see something so widely loathed in a mainstream context.
To be honest, I try and be objective about the whole thing. I don't trust the BNP, but then I don't trust most politicians. I think there is a lot of hysteria about the party and you have to wade through all the bullshit.
When it comes down to it, I don't like their policies at all. Whilst I can see they'd radically change the country in a heartbeat, it would come at too great a cost. The governement would be way too strict. They may be able to clear up crime and whatnot, but we'd all be living in the forties again. They even published a photograph circa World War II of a 'civilised society' and put it next to a photo of 'modern day Britain' (lots of ethnic people in burkas and turbans). They asked - 'which would you like to see?' - Both pictures were absurd and extremist.
They also have all that guff about sending people back to their place of origin - how exactly is that possible in the UK right now? Am I supposed to piss off back to Norway or something? Everything is way too integrated for that to work. I've never been pro-capital punishment either.
I'm not sure if the party is extremist/racist, or just eccentric in a very bad way. In either case, I wouldn't like to be associated with them. You're right about the Sun too - they are a bunch of twats. To be honest, I think they are worse than the BNP.

dunc, the party is racist/extremist, you just demonstrated it yourself by illustrating their repatriation policy
the llanfair candidate polled a massive 22 votes.

This is a very difficult post!
What I'm saying is, the BNP seem to think they're all doing the right thing and the people at the top constantly deny accusations of racism. This is confounded by the fact that numerous racists have joined the party. Whilst they are completely fucked in the head, you have to wonder whether the policy makers actually believe their own words. In which case they are not entirely sane, but not exactly racist either - or at least not consciously racist.
Ergo - they need professional help. Badly.
