Many many years ago, when I used to religiously sit there listening to John Peel with my index finger hesitantly poised over the Rec button of my tape recorder, I got half a track called I Am A Rock by some obscure band called The Coolies. Peel marvelled over them saying they had an album called Dig that consisted entirely of Simon & Garfunkel cover versions, but in a cool [sic] way. So listen up...! Followed by Perjury from South Wales and from around the same time as The Coolies (c1985). Sticking with South Wales, Swansea's ever busy mixer twatster Matty of Head in The Shed has had a bash at Chepstow's Thyrd Eye. Notice how I only mention the 1st 2 or 3 tracks in these blogs...! It's simply cos I can't be fucking arsed!! Listen to the show and find out the truth for yourself - it's out there kids, don't let them tell you any different.... www.myspace.com/crudcastCOOLIES - I Am a Rock PERJURY - One Too Many THYRD EYE v HEAD IN THE SHED - If I Wait Too Long HENRY'S FUNERAL SHOE - Henry's Funeral Shoe HOLY FUCK - The Pulse HEADHAUNTER - Encursed Soul REDSTRIPE - Nice Dub POCKET VENUS - Through Your Day WARCOLA - Censorship Y DIWYGIAD - W.E.N.G.L.I.S.H GOLDBLADE - City of Ghosts ZEN CIRCUS & BRIAN RITCHIE - Punk Lullaby 3ANT RIOT - Celebrity Replica GERM CORPORATION - Pain Barrier STIG - Phat Elvis
